The device is known as the iPad Air 2 and comes with the new Apple A8X processor, a 64-bit chipset that makes for a 2.5 times faster GPU performance and a 40% faster CPU performance than featured in the Apple A7 chipset. It also includes an M8 motion processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of recording 1080p videos (with burst mode and slow-motion video recording abilities), a front camera featuring a wider aperture that allows 81% more light in, and Touch ID.
